Actor Salman Khan is all set to launch ‘The Hit Girl’, a biography based on the life of Veteran actress Asha Parekh, on April 10 at a suburban hotel in Mumbai.

Written by a film critic and senior journalist Khalid Mohamed, the book, according to Mumbai Mirror, consists of a foreword written by the actor as his family, especially his step mother Helen, shares a good camaraderie with the actress.

It looks like bringing out books has become a latest trend among celebrities in the show-biz.

Filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Rishi Kapoor are among the recent artists to have launched their autobiographies ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ and ‘Khullam Khulla’ respectively.

Bollywood’s evergreen beauty Rekha also had a book based on her life, named ‘Rekha: The Untold Story’.
