You know what concerns my mother the most now that I live on my own in another city? It’s not my crazy timings at work or how much I sleep; it’s whether I start my day with a plate of healthy breakfast. And while I roll my eyes and tell her ‘Yes, ma, I had something to eat’, the truth usually is that I rush out of the house with an apple in my mouth and a bottle of water under my arm. My health would probably laugh at it, but it’s either that or compromising on my sleep, which ain’t gonna happen.
