He recently helped his club side Paris Saint Germain to a fourth successive French league title, scoring 4 goals in familiar “Zlatan” fashion.
As he’s nearing the end of his contract with the Paris giants, rumours are rife about his decision to move abroad. On being asked whether the 34-year-old wishes to stay at PSG, Zlatan, in typical Zlatanesque way, came up with a witty reply:
“If they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of me, I will stay at PSG. I can promise that!”
But little did people know that the iconic French monument would come back with a retort on social media!
Yes, the official Eiffel Tower Twitter handle wrote something in reply to Zlatan:
“I like your joke, Zlatan, and the view of Paris is so beautiful from here. But I am the Tower,” the inanimate object wrote on Twitter.
Well, Zlatan may be Zlatan, but the Tower definitely towers over him!
