The Indian Army on Wednesday said it had conducted surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC), in which it said it had caused major damage to terrorist camps and killed militants.
Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, Director General Military Operations (DGMO) and Vikas Swarup, spokesperson for Ministry of External Affairs disclosed the news.
Considering the on-going tension between India and Pakistan, the news obviously evoked reactions across the country on social media.
Many celebrated the move and claimed that there was no option left.
