It’s a not-so-well-kept adult secret that we have no idea what we’re doing at any given point. We’re all literally just making it up as we go. Our crippling inability to adult like we’re supposed to, however, doesn’t stop life from throwing every goddamn curve ball right at our metaphorical testes. And yet, with hopes and dreams that hurt like severely impacted balls, we soldier on.
In honour of this very barely functional existence that so many of us have resisted for a while and then begrudgingly embraced, comic artist Meichi created the eponymous Barely Functional Adult series. And we’ve brought some of the best ones here for you.
Hey, it’s a scary life, sure. But why not take comfort in the fact that you’re not alone in any of it. There’s literally a whole world of adults, just improvising life. So join us in all the improvisational fun and go on making the kids of the world believe we know what we’re doing.
