Oxford Dictionaries' Word of the Year is finally here and it is.... *drum rolls please*.... Post-Truth!

Relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.

Within the Indian context, we're already witnessing demonetization which has kinda united our rather diverse country through the emotion of frustration. Basically, Brexit, Donald Trump and Modiji are now influencing the English language, apart from various lives. The only way to react to such a scary thought is to justify it with the Word of the Year 2015 which was the "Face with tears of joy” emoji. 

However, there were some other very relevant words that were shortlisted in the final 10.
