One of the most fearsome batsmen has retired from international cricket. Brendon McCullum, entertainer-in-chief in modern cricket, batted for the last time as New Zealand play Australia in Wellington.

While McCullum hasn't amassed too many runs compared to other greats of the game, he has provided some amazing moments which will be hard to emulate.

As the Kiwi skipper retires, we look back at some of his most memorable innings in international cricket - in order of preference:

145 vs Australia in Christchurch, February 2016: 79 balls, 21 fours and four sixes (fastest Test hundred)

302 vs India in Wellington, February 2014: 559 balls, 32 fours and four sixes

59 vs South Africa in Auckland, March 24, 2015 (World Cup semis): 26 balls, eight fours and four sixes

166 vs Ireland in Aberdeen on July 1, 2008: 135 balls, 11 fours and 10 sixes
