In one such incident, a 20-year-old Delhi University student was molested  a DTC bus by a middle-aged man who was allegedly masturbating beside her. He was also trying to repeatedly touch her waist.

Though the incident took place on February 7, it came to light only on February 12, when the victim spoke about it to ANI,

In the FIR filed with the police, the victim has claimed that she even shouted at the accused, but he did not listen to her. Even the co-passengers ignored the entire incident and nobody came to her help.

The complainant ignored the man in first instance when he was misbehaving with her but was shocked when she saw him unzipping his pants and masturbating. She alleged,

I immediately raised an alarm and told my co-passengers. I told them that the man was masturbating but no one understood what I was talking about. The accused then started asking me to calm down and he later got down.

Later, she also made a video of the man masturbating at her as an evidence and posted it on social media.

Though the police have registered an FIR under sections 354 (sexual harassment), 354-A (making sexually coloured remarks), and 294 (obscene act in public place) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), no arrest has been made in the case so far.
