In association with disney India

How many Disney fans in the house? No, no, no..animation isn’t just for kids. And Disney films are proof. If self discovery is on your mind watch Tangled. Missing your buddies? Binge the Toy Story series. In the mood for some family time and drama? The Lion King it is! And of course, the world of Disney has a lot more to offer.

And now Disney has come up with its newest movie to keep the magic alive – Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. We can’t wait to find out what happens to Aurora and Maleficent in this installment. And we, here in India, have even more reason to be excited. Because Maleficent is being voiced in Hindi by the fabulous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

If you need any more convincing to watch it, here are 5 reasons why y’all should watch Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

1. Bonds of love

Love between two people can be complicated, but the one true love that is strongest of all is maternal love. Maleficent had redefined love and true love’s kiss in the first film itself. This time around too, I’m sure, the creators have a lot more in store for us!

2. Good ol evil

If you have ever wondered if anyone is purely good or purely evil, then I think this film has something to tell you. Maleficent is the anti-hero and her character has a few dark shades. But so do we all, right? Well, watch the film and decide for yourself. But one thing we all can agree on is how Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is making evil sound way too good.

3. Double the fun

If you go for the film, you won’t just see the charismatic Angelina Jolie perform, but if you go for the Hindi version, you’ll also get to hear Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bring Jolie’s performance to life. So hey if you were wondering which film to take your kids to, you’ve got loads of options.

4. Dramatic Magic

Needless to say, all Disney movies are super magical and Maleficent is no exception! The world of Moors is just enchanting, completely sweeps you off your feet and totally speaks to the kid in you!

5. Mystery continues

The trailer has given us hints, built intrigue around the plot and has left us wanting for more. If this was a typical Good vs Evil, we could guess who would win. But that’s not what Maleficent is about. So there’s only one way to find out what happened to our favourite characters.

I know the excitement is hitting the roof but hey the wait is finally over. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is here, so book your tix now. Till then, enjoy the trailer here:
