Close to a year ago, Shilpa Shinde made headlines when she had a fallout with the production house that made the popular television show Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai. Shilpa was widely appreciated for her performance as ‘Angoori Bhabhi’ and news of her quitting the show left fans disappointed.
The producers and the channel found a replacement in actor Shubhangi Atre. However, Shilpa has now slammed the producer, Sanjay Kohli, accusing him of sexual harassment. As per a report in Hindustan Times, The FIR was filed at Walvi Naigaon police station, Mumbai on Thursday.
According to the FIR, Shilpa has alleged that Kohli had often used sexual innuendos during their conversation and had reportedly even threatened her with consequences if she made his sexual advances public. Shilpa has been backed by her make-up man who, according to her, was a witness.
Shilpa had earlier accused the producers of causing her mental torture. She was later sued by the production house for the damages caused to the show due to her abrupt absence.
