On the occasion of International Women’s Day, UN ambassador for gender equality in India, Aishwarya R Dhanush, performed Bharatanatyam at an event in New York.

But not all are impressed with her performance.
Aishwarya has come under the intense social media scrutiny from people who thought her performance was rather too mediocre for an international audience. From calling her dance recital ‘pathetic’ to hinting at ‘nepotism’, people are clearly not taken in by this performance.
#bharatanatyam attacked brutally, I guess!Ultimately trolled. #aishwaryadhanush #tamilrockers #KollywoodGossip https://t.co/lPGMLAMGUc pic.twitter.com/c88KrYyvoe
