Ever since news of Akshay Kumar holding a Canadian passport, and thereby not voting in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, came out, Twitterati has prosecuted the star for not being a ‘true national’.

Akshay Kumar released a statement to offer clarification, but his response drew flak from Twitterati for presenting contradictory statements.

And in the wake of the ongoing controversy, an old video of the star has surfaced on the internet where he is stating to a crowd that Toronto is his home.
