Okay, so how many of you read articles and then went and checked that coffee cup on Dany’s table during the feast?
That was weird, right? I mean, the same table had a dude drinking booze from a horn. And then there was this plastic cup!
GoT Art Director Hauke Richter later confirmed that it was indeed a cup to TMZ and said that the crew is usually very diligent.
The shoot was very hard and demanding and it is likely that after a very tiring ep 3 shoot, this was simply overlooked by an exhausted crew.
But thank the internet, because this is not the first time a cup has been found on set.
On further digging, it was discovered that during Joffrey’s wedding, Jaime was holding a coffee cup with a regrown hand!
You would imagine that the creators of the biggest show on Earth would be more careful, right?
Well, Twitter had a lot to say about it.
Last night’s episode was not the first to contain a #Starbucks easter egg. Check this out from earlier in the series. Jaime Lannister has both hands in this scene AND a coffee cup.#GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/WPrF6xwhCZ

Oh, was this a behind the scenes shot?
“Images from “Game of Thrones” season 4 showing Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) holding a coffee cup went viral in 2014, but those were from a behind-the-scenes clip and didn’t appear in the show itself.”

jaime lannister is holding a cup in his hand during a shot of him standing before the iron throne while in kings landing. this isn’t the first time, it’s the most blatantly obvious time. https://t.co/jVtOXi7ECp

Jaime Lannister is holding a coffee cup at Joffrey’s wedding or coronation or something from like 17 seasons ago, this is a repeat boring story, grow up

But, hey, what the hell, we still love the damn show.
