Amid the tense situation between India and Pakistan, Bollywood is ready to capitalise on the million emotions the nation is experiencing.

According to a report by Huffpost India, Bollywood producers have rushed to register names for the movies based on the current happenings. After URI: The Surgical Strike collected good money at the box office, Bollywood is ready to cash in on the ongoing scenario.

From Pulwama to Abhinandan – at least 5 production companies hurried to the Indian Motion Pictures’ Producers’ Association (IMMPA) office in Andheri in Western Mumbai, according to the report.

The report described the scene as ‘khichdi’ as they fought to call dibs on titles such as, Balakot, Surgical Strikes 2.0, and Pulwama Attacks.

Huffpost also reported, according to data collected by Complete Cinema, titles registered after the Pulwama attacks on 14th February, include – Pulwama Pulwama: The Surgical Strike, War Room, Hindustan Hamara Hai, Pulwama Terror Attack, The Attacks of Pulwama, With Love, From India, and ATS – One Man Show.

To register a title, a production house has to fill a form, with 4-5 alternative titles, pay a sum of Rs. 250 along with 18 percent GST.

Twitter is calling Bollywood out for this.
