Warning – spoilers ahead

Arya Stark’s biggest driving force, and reason for her long and winding journey, is vengeance. The sweet revenge on those who killed her friends and family made her come up with a list, which she whispers every night before going to sleep.

Who all remain on her list after the greatest battle ended with Arya finally killing the Night King?

1. Cersei Lannister

Reason: The cunning woman that Cersei is, she’ll probably be the last one to die sitting comfortably away from Winterfell. But obviously, the reason and the main stakeholder behind her entire family’s downfall, Cersei deserved a top spot on Arya’s list and is only one of the three alive. To avenge Ned Stark, she’s going to work hard until her sword pierces the Lannister queen’s heart.

2. Sandor Clegane a.k.a The Hound

Reason: King Joffrey who accused Arya’s best friend Mycah of hitting him is put to bed by Clegane, who then earns his spot by doing so.

If you’ve seen the latest episode and the last, you’ll know that Clegane and Arya’s relationship has turned full circle. Arya plotted revenge on Clegane for killing Mycah but left him to die of his wounds after looting him.

Considering The Hound just saved her life in the last episode, it’ll be interesting to see if she still sticks to her list.

3. The Mountain

Reason: Gregor Clegane a.k.a The Mountain (the brother of Sandor Clegane) wreaked havoc throughout the Riverlands and lead his men to take the castle Harrenhal, where the Mountain and his soldiers tortured and executed a large number of people. Arya survived but witnessed the horrors that the Mountain brought.

Right now, he is living in King’s Landing in a zombie-like state where he’s even more powerful than before and obeys Cersei’s orders. Might be the toughest name to strike off for Arya on the list.

Sadly or gladly, the others on the list are dead. What brought them to their fate?

1. Ilyn Payne

Ser Ilyn Payne was the man that swung the sword that killed Ned Stark. Though he’s not been visible since season 4, it is assumed that he is dead.

3. Beric Dondarrion

Much to the disbelief of many, Beric’s death for the final time occured when he was trying to save Arya from the dead that have entered the castle amid the great battle. Though on Arya’s list, Melisandre explains that the Lord of Light brought him back for this very purpose. He saved Arya and sacrificed himself in order to do so.

4. Walder Frey

The most hated person on the show and the reason behind the death of Robb and Catelyn Stark, Walder Frey is murdered by Arya after she feeds him pies made from his own sons. She then slits his throat after revealing her real face.

10. Joffrey Lannister

The douche prince was always on Arya’s list but she couldn’t do it herself as Joffrey died a rather sadistic death at the hands of Olenna Martell and Petyr Baelish.

11. Thoros of Myr

Thoros of Myr died north of the Wall, dying in the cold after he was wounded by the White Walkers’ wights. He along with Beric sold Gendry to Melisandre, which is the reason why Arya wanted to kill him too.
