Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards was one hell of an evening on Sunday in California’s Beverly Hills.
While Hollywood film La La Land came out as a clear winner sweeping away the awards in all seven categories it was nominated in, television series Atlanta and The Crown took the night’s top honors beating the hit medieval fantasy series Game of Thrones.
Along with glitz and glamour, a pinch of ‘politics’ was also seen that added more fun to the pay back night for the actors. Jimmy Fallon opened the three-hour ceremony by calling the awards show ‘one of the few places left where America still honors the popular vote’.
