1. Jon Snow is dead.

HBO is leaving nothing for the imagination with their treatment of Jon Snow’s death. YES, HE IS DEAD.

2. The old Jaime Lannister is back.

Jaime is now back from Dorne and after learning what had happened to Cersei during his absence, the Lannisters look set to pay their debts.

3. Davos is standing over a funeral pyre.

The Onion Knight looks really sad as he is standing near a funeral pyre. It can be Stannis’ pyre or Shireen’s for all we know. 

4. The Bolton Army is ruthless as ever.

We see a battle scene with the Bolton army setting a random Baratheon soldier on fire. This ruthless move is sure to strike fear in the hearts of the opposition.

5. Melisandre is talking about her visions of a Stannis victory.

Melisandre is seen talking to Davos Seaworth about her visions. This can be one of the more humanizing moments for her characters but it can all be a huge conspiracy as well.

6. Jorah is back and so is his never ending failed love-story.

Jorah somehow manages to find Khaleesi’s ring in the fields. This might just set up his redemption arc but knowing how the show generally goes, he seems likely to be killed soon.

7. The Dothraki army IS BACK!

The Dothraki Army looks so badass. We might see another Khal Drogo soon.

8. Daenerys seems to be having a not-so-fun time.

Daenerys has been taken captive by the Dothraki warriors and she hasn’t been treated well yet. Is her larger-than-life “I’m so much better than you” story arc finally over?

9. A revolution is coming.

The High Sparrow seems to have made his intentions clear in the trailer. Here he talks about the power of a common soldier and the will to rule over the seven kingdoms.

10. Euron Greyjoy has finally arrived.

The book readers have been particularly upset over the absence of Euron Greyjoy but he seems to have finally arrived in the trailer. The Greyjoys are going to have a lot of fun this season.

11. Sansa lives!

Sansa was shown alive and healthy when she seems to be her elegant self again. She needs to live otherwise who will the next psychopath on the show torture, right? 

12. Tyrion is underground and maybe setting the Dragons free?

With the Khaleesi gone, it is only obvious for the other smaller kingdoms to start attacking Mireen now. Tyrion is the only one who knows how to handle sieges and this might just be a part of that.

13. D.R.A.G.O.N!!

Shit is lit!

14. Cersei decides to choose violence and crap hits the fan really quickly.

This is easily one of the most exciting bits of the trailer. The High Sparrow is going to pay for the Walk of Shame.

15. YOUNG NED STARK AND ROBERT’S REBELLION! (Caps for emphasis)

We see a flashback sequence about the Tower of Joy. It definitely gave all of us towers of joy when we saw this particular scene. We will finally get some context for Robert’s rebellion in the show.

16. The Kingsguard had the Targaryen sigil on it.

The Mad King will definitely spice up the show.

16. Cersei has something up her sleeve for her trial.

Cersei looks like a woman with a purpose as she walks towards the trial room. The High Sparrow will leave no stone unturned to get her punished for the incestuous relationship with Jaime.

17. The Iron Fleet? WHOA!

The Greyjoys are going to get really important this season.

18. Littlefinger is back in the North.

Littlefinger is back in the North and he’s looking for Sansa.

19. Arya is back and she is basically the Daredevil in the trailer.

She is getting beaten up in one shot and she is basically doing some serious parkour in the other one. She definitely has no fear.

20. Margaery is still in prison.

The Tyrells haven’t gotten much screen time in the trailer with Margaery still stuck in prison.

21. Theon is in trouble. AGAIN!

Theon seems to have been cornered by Bolton soldiers but then we see Brienne of Tarth rescuing him. Maybe this is how Sansa survives after the fall.

22. Melisandre might indulge in some good old-fashioned necrophilia?

Melisandre is shown seducing someone and I’ll go out on a limb here saying that it was most probably Jon Snow. What even…

23. They are fighting over Jon Snow’s body? For different reasons obviously.

The Night’s Watch wants his body and so does Davos. The Onion Knight is going to make these traitors cry soon. Ghost is still protecting his body as well.

24. Bran Stark meets the Leader of the White Walkers.

Bran’s return to the screen looks unceremonious as he’s set to encounter the leader of the White Walkers soon.

25. The Bolton Army is facing off against a group of Wildlings.

They had my curiosity at first but now they have my attention.

We’ve seen a lot of scenes that are trying to reiterate exactly how dead Jon Snow is but one particular still from the trailer will give a lot of fans hope. We’ve spotted a figure in the trailer that looks a lot like our beloved bastard, Jon Snow.
