Lion has gathered so much praise from the international film community and while we’re proud of Dev Patel, there is another Indian who managed to not only make us proud but also make us go ‘aww’ with his innocent charm.

Say hello to Sunny Pawar, the Mumbai boy who played the role of young Saroo in the movie. After beating 2,000 kids to get the role, and acing in the movie, this little bundle of talent wooed everyone at the Academy Awards.

Sunny was all dressed up for the Oscars in his bow tie and quirky shoes, carrying them off quite confidently. Moreover, he seemed to be super confident with his answers in Hindi. All in all, it was quite evident that he was enjoying himself.

He was clearly the life of the awards, and everyone seemed to want a picture with him!

Imagine being held up like Simba at the Oscars by one of the most famous television hosts. You can see the excitement on Sunny’s face as well as on Dev’s. 

While most of us dream about getting clicked alongside someone as elegant as Nicole Kidman, this kid has done it all.

He has a fan in Nicole Scherzinger!
