By now, you must’ve heard that Leicester City Football Club were crowned Premier League champions in one of the greatest underdogs sports stories of all time. At a time when financial bullying is prevalent in the sport, a bunch of also rans and upcoming stars conquered the summit of English football for the very first time. And right in the thick of things – on and off the field, as this article suggests – is Jamie Vardy, LCFC’s top scorer.

But breathing down his neck was Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane who also happens to be his England teammate. Spurs were also contesting for the title and were right on Leicester’s heels in recent weeks.

And just like his goals, Vardy timed his tweet to perfection. With Leicester having wrapped up the title after Spurs’ 2-2 draw at Chelsea, the striker wasted no time in posting this image on Twitter:
