Singer and actor, Sulli sadly passed away this morning at the age of 25. The K-pop star was found dead by her manager at her home in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam in the Gyeonggi province of South Korea.
The star’s real name was Choi Jin-ri and she quit her band, f(x) in 2014 after struggling with cyber bullying and online abuse. However, she resumed her career and started to focus on her acting career, going on to do shows like Hotel del Luna and The Night of Hate Comments. Her death is reported to be a suicide, however, investigation is still under play.
It seems that Choi was living alone at the house. It looks like she ended her life but we will investigate, (and are) open to all possibilities.
-Police officer
Sulli recently lost a very good friend, K-pop star Jonghyun (SHINee), who took his own life at 27 in 2017. Both the artists were managed by SM entertainment. Fans are mourning Sulli’s death on Twitter.

She was the only one who knew exactly the reasons to be honest with you and i know the industry is f* cked up in general but 2 idols in 2 years from the same company even as a statistic number alone is alarming

I no. Im so upset. She was such a beautiful sweet person. Who was hurting and hoping someone would notice and/or the bullying would stop. None of those things happened. She felt there was no other way and it’s sooo sad. I’m crying 😭😭
