Remember Captain Planet? Yes, the very cartoon that gave us lessons in environmental preservation through the way of 5 planeteers, each representing Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Heart. And when all of their powers combined, it called upon Captain Planet. 

That cartoon taught us so much, right? 

Now, according to recent reports, Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way Productions, will soon be making a movie based on our favourite ’90s cartoon. Could there have been any better news?

We all know how big an environmentalist Leonardo is. With his foundation working and striving towards a better planet, it’s only fair that he’s producing a movie on Captain Planet now.  

Imagine, if he also decides to play Captain Planet, wouldn’t that be something?
