Amidst all the frenzy surrounding the Coldplay concert, we now know for sure that Coldplay is indeed coming to India and will be performing in Mumbai at the Global Citizen fest in November.
But there is one suprise artist in the line-up, who has caught our fancy.
Actor Ranveer Singh, has been roped in to play alongside Coldplay.
Yes, you heard that right. According to a DNA report, Ranveer will be performing to a medley of his hits alongside Coldplay.
A source claims,
“With this performance, Ranveer follows up on his recent stage performance alongside Major Lazer. He was one of the most obvious choices to open for Coldplay.”
The concert will also boast of names such as Jay Z, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, AR Rahman and Deepika Padukone (ahem!).
The Global Citizen fest launches a 15-year campaign to mobilise social change in India. The event will also have a line-up of other international and Indian headliners.
Ranveer’s inclusion in the list does not come as a surprise to us at all. The super chirpy and energetic Ranveer will surely set the stage on fire with his energy.
