Reddit (when they’re really bored) can spend seemingly endless hours of Zoom-ing in on people from across the world to reveal a mystery.  

Just days after India’s Got Talent Season 2 premiered with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari on the panel, Samay Raina did what he does best; posted one cryptic picture, and then the internet went apeshit.

The comedian posted an image of a group of people from the next taping, except that he hid the face of his mystery guest behind two emojis, one of them being a lemon, and the other being the evil eye.

Most normal people would’ve been like “Sweet, surprise guest.” Reddit was all “ENHANCE.”

Exhibit A: The Mole Investigation

In a matter of minutes, fans had collectively agreed that the only visible clue to identifying this entire human being (the one with the mystery emoji covering their face) was a very, very small mole located on the mystery guest’s forearm.

According to News18, it appears as though Reddit narrowed their choices down to Ayushmann Khurrana, Ranveer Singh and YouTuber, Sourav Joshi. 

One Reddit investigator said the following with conviction: 

“Definitely Sourav Joshi! He has a mole on his forearm.”

They even went as far as posting one of his pictures from Dubai to solidify their investigation that there exists an actual mole on the forearm of this extremely popular YouTuber.  

Sherlock Holmes just left the chat bro! 

Now arrives Team Ayushmann.  

The internet began to experience an overload of comments; 

“India will have Latent 2 with Ayushmann Khurrana as a panel member.”

“Wo Ayushman Khurrana hai.”

And also on that day, somebody just happened to slip what could be the week’s biggest spoiler. A Redditor dropped what may have been an uncensored version of Samay’s selfie with Ayushmann with identical peace signs.

This Reddit user also said:

“Wo Ayushmann Khurrana hain. (I know from other sources that he visited the show live.)”

Meanwhile, Team Ranveer was simply looking at…T-Shirts versions of sources?

If the possible mole theory in reference to that Team’s presence on the show didn’t provide enough to still have you contemplating if this was for real; another part of the internet became instant fashion analysts.

An individual who looked at some of the text printed on the mystery guests T-Shirt assumed it was Bold Care and immediately speculated it must have been Ranveer Singh since he represents that product.

One comment literally said:

“T-Shirt pe Boldcare likha hai. Ranveer Singh hai.”

The internet’s been booming in energy usage in peak times and also being used up in huge quantities.

There is little or no evidence supporting claims of peak energy usage on the internet. 

And wait wait… other theory floating around is that Samay gives each celebrity guest a framed picture, and a fan discovered what appeared to be a framed picture in the background of Sourav Joshi’s Vlog.

Thus, the conclusion is that…Sourav Joshi recorded an episode at some point. But was it done? We don’t know that! 

So is it really clear who the guest was? No. 

A comment made by someone else said:

“He Ain’t That Tall”.

So no, feels like Reddit is confused in itself bro.
