It was a night to remember for SRK fans in San Francisco as they literally got an opportunity to rub shoulders with him.

Shah Rukh Khan was in the country to attend the on-going film festival, where the Karan Johar directorial movie My Name Is Khan was to be screened as a part of the tribute to the actor.

The 51-year old actor on Friday also went live on Twitter for an interview with his friend and Hollywood filmmaker Brett Ratner at the San Francisco Film Festival.

And as always, the actor was at his best while answering a wide range of questions.

During his conversation with Ratner, Shah Rukh said that he decided to take up all the roles that came his way initially after an incident where he was once called an ugly actor by a ‘popular’ director.

The actor also shared his way of dealing with failures in life.

Making the interaction even more fun, an impromptu video call was also made to Jackie Chan.

Recalling his days as a TV actor, SRK also narrated a moment where for the first time he was recognised by people on the streets for his work in Fauji.

And then of course, Khan obliged fans by striking his signature ‘romantic’ pose.

And if all this wasn’t enough for making his fans skip a beat, SRK chose to wrap the interaction in rather a Raees style!

Here are some pictures from the event:

The two-week long festival will conclude on April 19.
