Do you still get the creeps when you hear Shah Rukh Khan go K-K-K-K-Kiran in Darr? If so, you should watch the rebooted version of the 1993 blockbuster that made a star out of Shah Rukh Khan. Darr 2.0 happens to be YRF’s fifth web series and it also looks like the most ambitious web series to come out of the production house yet. It features the same set of characters, Rahul (played by SRK in the original), Sunil (played by Sunny Deol in the original) and Kiran (played by Juhi Chawla in the original) in a modern day setting. And it has a perfect tagline: You have one new follower.
Darr 2.0 deals with the pertinent topic of cyber-stalking. To create awareness about cyber-crimes, Y-Films asked their fans to send their “happy pictures”, which they have used in their teaser, where an unidentified man is shown using those very pictures.
