And if you had any doubt about that – the producers at HBO will be putting all their cards on the table for the last season, by pumping in a reported $15 million per episode!!

Exactly! The makers are going to leave no expense spared to cap the narratives of arguably the world’s biggest pop-culture phenomenon since Harry Potter wrapped up in 2013. 

This means that Game of Thrones will be among the most expensive shows on the planet like Netflix’s The Crown and The Get Down – both of which were made at a reported $12-13 million per episode.

However, the reports also suggest how all the last six episodes in the last season will be an approximate 80 minutes – nearly the same as the season 7 finale which clocked in at 79 minutes. 

This probably means hikes in actor salaries for ‘incestuous scenes’? Maybe. And even mind blowing VFX, never before attempted on TV.
