Of late, the nation has been seeing a lot of hullabaloo regarding the beef ban.And while Indians seem to be divided on the issue, we discovered a page on Facebook dedicated to the cows of Benaras aptly called… well, Cows of Benaras .

And why not? I personally feel that cows are one of the most beautiful creatures in the world.Look at this pic for example…

Oh sorry. Wrong pic. I meant this one.

You get the general idea, right? The DP might look normal, but inside, you’ll find some of the most awesome cows (and occasional buffaloes) in the country. And while some of them are pure daredevils…

…Others just want to chill wherever they can.

Everyone speaks a language not everyone can decipher. A moo has a sorrow and a laughter of a lifetime too.” is what the page says about itself.

And just like the Humans of New York page, they too post sentimental stuff. Right in the feels.Like this cow, who tells you why she loves Delhi.

“I am very fond of Delhites. The bulls over there are so hospitable and soft spoken. They see all cows as sisters. I remember asking this bull where he was from and he said, “Dilli se hoon behencow.”~Ishu

Or this cow who teaches you a lesson in swag 101.

“Aren’t you going the wrong way?””Human, once ‘Swarg’ used to be the ultimate goal in life. I just realised that the ‘r’ in it is silent.”~Ishu (repost)

Not only that, the page also deals out some harsh truths albeit in a satirical manner.

“How do you feel about the recent water discovery on Mars?” “Oh great! Yet another planet with adulterated cow milk.”~Ishu

All the cows are always up to date with the current happenings. Remember the Digital India campaign?

Founded by nineteen-year-old Shivdeep Singh, a chemical engineering student at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, the page has been garnering a lot of interest amongst the aam junta. Primarily, because of the tongue-in-cheek humor it doles out.

“Two roads diverged in the woods, and I chose the one less traveled by, for it had more grass.”*Goa*~Ishu
