This invited some sharp reaction on Twitter.
Excellent question. By this logic, let’s cut off communication everywhere. There’s miscreants, terrorists, lynchers filming and disseminating videos, there’s the god forsaken Whatsapp University. Cut everyone off. Wonderful.— Sidrah (@SidrahDP) September 2, 2019
Hmm by that logic why don't we start by cutting off mobile and internet services across the country. Safety first you see— Farhana (@FarhanaCvg) September 2, 2019
So we decided what else we could do in this country, using the same logic as our External Affairs Minister.
Remember that stand-up by Abhishek Upmanyu, where he ranted about having watched too much Crime Patrol?
Yeah, well, who thought our External Affairs Minister would sound like him!
