Indians from the north-eastern states of the country are usually subjected to this racial slur. They are stereotyped and posed with all sorts of insensitive questions from ignorant people who seem to be present in a big volume in our country. There is this stingy, obnoxious kid of generalisation that has led a lot of North-Eastern Indians to raise their voices against it and affirm their right of being treated like normal people. 

In an attempt to give a voice to her people against this blatant racism, Miss Imsong, an assistant designer from Mumbai and a comedy and theatre enthusiast, created a video called “Presumptuous chinky assumes the North Indian way”.

And just like that, Imsong brought in satire to give the stereotypers a taste of their own medicine.
