So it’s finally here. In October, when the TVS-BMW Motorrad joint venture announced their first co-creation, the G 310 R concept bike, it was just a matter of time before the production ready model was unveiled. As per NDTV , the new bike, to be called the BMW G 310 R, will be developed at TVS’s Bangalore plant.

If sources are to be believed, this will be BMW’s first ever bike produced outside Europe.

IBTimes

This is what the company had to say about the bike, “One cylinder, low weight, powerful dynamic performance – the BMW G 310 R embodies the pure essence of a BMW roadster: it has neither too little nor too much of anything. Pragmatic in the best sense of the word, it offers precisely what is needed – for dynamic performance and comfort, both in town and out in the country.”

For the mileage-conscious among us, the bike boasts a superb fuel efficiency of 36 Kmpl, mainly thanks to its light weight (all of 158.5 Kgs) and its low level of fuel consumption.
