Charanjit Singh, the man who unintentionally created acid house music, died in his home in Mumbai on 3 July.

The sessions musician who played with star names such as RD Burman and Shankar Jaikishen became an international sensation when his 1982 album, Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat, was re-released in 2010. He may have passed on, but his music will live on forever.
