Everyday Facebook presents us little gems and nuggets of wisdom and what is wonderful about these bites that find us is that they most often come from the hearts of regular people who merely spoke honestly, who spoke their mind.

And it was in this course of cruising through timelines we found the post by Preyansi Mani, who shattered all the loaded notions about wearing a sari, what it could be interpreted as and what it actually means. Because honestly it doesn’t mean anything too different from clothing. This is our token of appreciation to Preyansi for speaking up for a whole generation of young women trying to wear a sari without apology or excuses.
