It might be kind of hard, but there are bunch of different jobs relating to eating, cooking and maintaining food that can keep you wealthy, healthy and gloriously fed.

Well, obviously. Not saying it’s easy, but there’s almost no wrong time to get on your way to becoming a chef. The pay can be great and you get to be right in the thick of it all. You’ll have to put your nose to the grindstone and work crazy hours, but if you really love food, you won’t mind.

If you’ve got a flair for writing and can get imaginative with descriptions of your oral experiences, then go after a job as a food journalist. If you do the right kind of training, you can get a career as a nutritionist. This way, you can not only help others by advising them about what to eat, you’ll also know what’s perfect for yourself, food-wise. Basically, you’ll know how often you can hog out.

Working as a food stylist might sound like something only Paris Hilton would do, but there is actual demand for these people. Presentation is paramount in terms of food, and restaurants know this, which is why they employ stylists in the first place.

Pursuing organic farming is a great idea, not just if you’re into working outdoors and getting your hands dirty, but also if you like to travel. It’s one one of the best ways of living healthy, learning something useful and getting to travel while you’re at it.

Agreed, this is more business than food related, but you still have to know your stuff. You have to track and purchase consumer goods before they hit the grocery store, so you probably get to try some pretty amazing food as well!

12. Food Show Presenter

There’s Rocky and Mayur and then there’s Nigella, but both shows are so much fun to watch (for very different reasons). They both also get you quite chuffed about food though, which is almost like a social service. So if you’re good in front of a camera, try to get in on the food show action, it always looks like a blast.
