In what is being called as one of the most challenging operations, Operation Rahat, Narendra Modi’s government has shown outstanding courage and gone out of their way to save not only Indians stuck in strife-torn Yemen, but also foreign nationals from 41 countries. While we all saw General VK Singh leading from the front on the ground, here is one person who was continuously giving complete support from back home.
When a mother, reportedly a Yemeni female, tweeted to Sushma Swaraj asking her to save her Indian national 8-month-old kid, Swaraj responded immediately. And then, this happened:
@SabahShawesh We understand your concern.

Within days, the mother and the kid were rescued!
No need for thanks @SabahShawesh . It is our duty towards our country and countrymen. God bless your child – our young citizen.

PM Narendra Modi also applauded their efforts.
Colleagues @SushmaSwaraj & @Gen_VKSingh (who has been on the ground for days), have co-ordinated evacuation efforts in an exemplary manner.
