This saying by celebrated photojournalist Elliot Erwit still remains true in the age of booming social media. We flood pictures of Incredible India all over Instagram, but India being a diverse land of contrasting cultures and interests has always had two sides to it. Generally, we see only the beauty captured through high definition lenses, but much of what we see doesn’t really reveal the reality – edited and manoeuvred through simple technology to create perfect images.

“Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Limitless tried to show this through their new album #BrokenIndia . Images of beautiful India that attract tourists from world over have been shot with their not-so-appealing surroundings – revealing to us the irony between India unedited, and what the country is portrayed on Instagram. Take a look.

Beauty is everywhere, even if in the corners of #BrokenIndia… I mean Incredible India!
