Mumbai Indians made it look ridiculously easy when they chased down a 199-run target in just 15.3 overs. But instead of Nitish Rana (62 in 34 balls) or Jos Buttler (77 in 37 balls), Twitterati decided to thank Kings XI Punjab bowler Ishant Sharma instead.
His figures of 0/58 in 4 overs were truly terrible and erased his teammate Hashim Amla’s brilliant century in the 1st innings (104* off 60b).
What’s more, Ishant’s figures were as bad as Lasith Malinga’s – who also finished with 0/58 in 4 overs!
Easy bait for Twitter then…

There was some praise for Mumbai Indians as well – and for the real Orange Cap holder Nitish Rana…

The best thing about this year for @mipaltan is that different people are winning games for them. It is a very good sign
