Lalu Prasad Yadav has been left in a lurch after ally Nitish Kumar walked out of the caolition government and joined hands with the NDA. Result? Lalu out, Nitish retains his post as the chief minister of Bihar.

Ever since the drama began on Wednesday night when Nitish tendered a surprise resignation to the governor, Lalu has been fuming and fretting.

Here’s a look at how Lalu is breathing fire at Nitish at press conferences and on social media :

“There is a case of murder under section 302 and 307 of IPC booked against Nitish Kumar, which dates back to 1991. It can lead him to gallows or lifetime imprisonment. We knew about it. The charge against Nitish Kumar is much more serious and bigger than the charge of corruption (against Tejashwi Yadav).”

  • When Lalu reminded Nitish of his Sangh-mukt Bharat vow:

Mitti mein mitth jayenge, BJP se haath nahi milayenge. Sangh-mukt Bharat banayenge (Even if we perish, we won’t join hands with BJP. We will build Sangh-free India). This is what Nitish had said in the past. Now if he joins BJP, he will betray.”

Ye (Nitish Kumar) mile hue hain BJP, RSS se. Kya setting hai, PM Modi turant tweet kar diye, Nitish Kumar kobadhaai de diye (Nitish Kumar is hand-in-glove with the BJP-RSS. As soon as Nitish resigned, PM Modi tweeted in support),” Lalu remarked.

  • When Lalu regretted “making Nitish the CM”

“I considered him as my younger brother and told him he could be the CM. People asked me what I would do if I got more number of seats. If I was greedy, I would not have let him be the CM…Hum boley Shankar bhagwan ki tarah jao, raaj karo, par yeh toh Bhasmasur nikla.”

  • When Lalu thundered he won’t back down

Lalu tweeted,

BJP ko naye alliance partners mubarak ho. Lalu Prasad jhukne aur darne wala nahi hai. Jab tak aakhri saans hai fasiwadi takton se ladta rahunga (Congratulations to the BJP for its new alliance partners. Lalu Prasad is not one to bend or be cowed down. As long as I am alive, I will keep fighting fascist forces).”
