Rocheville finally had to go to California and live with his parents, The LadBible reports him as saying “I was depressed, in the worst ways. I couldn’t leave the house. I basically stayed in a room all day, walked to the corner if I bummed $5 from my mum. I was 38. Pathetic.”

Keith Rocheville was an unemployed, divorced 40-year-old father of four – life was not looking very good for him and he had every reason to give up.

Marital discord arose when he began falling short on child support for his teenage sons. But the final nail on the coffin was when he was charged for felony.

But things were only about to get worse. He was beaten at a party, which left him with a separated shoulder, two broken ribs and a broken clavicle. Rocheville was subsequently admitted to a psychiatric ward.

When he got out, Rocheville, who was overweight began a regime of rigorous exercises at that point, which included running and push-ups. He adopted a diet and lost around 30 kg.

His workouts gradually got him interested in MMA. Rocheville was eventually approached by the man who runs the Cage of Champions tournament in Jefferson City.

He qualified for the featherweight group and fought his first fight in October, 2015. Unfortunately, he lost. But the same match fetched him another fight on New Year’s Day.

Not only did Rocheville bounce back physically, he got a job as a full-time carpenter that enabled him to pay his bills and child support.

Don’t be surprised if Keith Rocheville becomes the next star of MMA. He has a way of turning things around.
