We’ve all been there. When you find a pair of jeans that are totally perfect and just the way you want them to be. But before you buy it, you want to know whether it fits perfectly or not. And the store has no trial rooms. There are a few situations more heartbreaking.

But, what if we told you that you can determine whether the jeans will fit your waistline or not without even trying it on?

Yes, really. Turns out you don’t always need to put on a pair of jeans to find out if it will fit. There is a simple trick for that.

If the waistline of the pant fits around your neck, it will fit around your waist.

So yeah, all you need to do is place the waistline around your neck. If it comfortably meets its other end at the back of your neck, the jeans will fit you. This is great for those instances when stores don’t have trial rooms, or you are short on time.

However, like all other tricks, this one also comes with exceptions. Doing this will only give you an approximate idea. There are times when this hack may fail, but then, which one doesn’t?
