We’re all guilty of procrastination!

In college or at work, sitting at home or at a party, we’re all busy procrastinating about something or the other all the damn time.


We get to work every morning thinking that we’ll accomplish multiple things in the next 8 hours. But does that happen? Nope. Not at all! 

All we are left with is regret. The regret of not having done all that we were supposed to do!


In such a scenario, how do people manage to achieve so much? Especially those who start from nothing and achieve massive success in their fields of choice. 

Take, for instance, Kevin Systrom, the CEO and co-founder of Instagram.


When asked about his life’s best hack, one that helped him achieve the success that he has, Kevin had a rather interesting trick to share. 

If you don’t want to do something, make a deal with yourself to do at least five minutes of it. After five minutes, you’ll end up doing the whole thing.

It actually makes sense, doesn’t it? 

If you focus on doing something for 5 minutes at least, chances are that by the time the 5 minutes are over, you’d have made considerable progress to want to continue further. 


Kevin also shared another important tip for those who want to make it big.

The one thing I won’t skip – or shorten – in the morning is an hour-long workout on my bike.
