Choosing a stream to study in school is one of those periods in life where the indecisive and the uncertain really have to struggle. It’s a hard knock life, and the pressures of society (read neighbourhood aunties) to join science rather than follow the arts becomes quite apparent. Some might luck out and receive a whole lot of support for their decision, but for a lot of us, choosing the arts means listening to a whole lot of close-minded and regressive jibber-jabber. 

Here’s some misconceptions people have about studying arts, and what the reality of it all really is.
