The ocean is full of trash and filth. No ‘earth’ shattering news, right?

We know how we love to litter and make everything around us turn uninhabitable.

This gruesome image only proves and validates that point.

Just an image of a lobster, you say?

Look closer and you shall find an image of what appears to be a ‘Pepsi Can’ imprinted on its claw.

The lobster was found off the Canadian coast according to reports and has since then attracted global attention.

People on the internet are divided over how a lobster could have a Pepsi logo imprinted on its body. There seem to be two plausible causes to it.

Maybe there was a can in the bottom of the ocean and when the lobster was growing, it grew around the can. Or this was a cardboard Pepsi packaging that may have been stuck on its claw, but it doesn’t scrape off, so it can’t be paper.

Whatever may be the cause, it definitely hints at marine pollution and the excessive human waste in our oceans, that affects marine life adversely.

This isn’t the first time that marine animals have suffered thanks to the amount of human debris in the water.

And while this may have been a harmless case, more often than not, the outcome is much worse when marine life comes in contact with human waste.

When will this stop?
