In a suspected robbery case, a German national was stabbed in north Delhi’s Kotwali area.
The incident took place on Friday around 10.26 PM near Geeta Colony on a road leading to ISBT, police said.
The man was robbed and then stabbed multiple times by a rickshawpuller, they said. The German national is currently hospitalised.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the German national has been identified as Benjamin Scholt who was attacked at around 11 PM.

“On way to Kashmere Gate from Chandni Chowk in a rickshaw, the driver offered a lift to another (person). The two men stabbed him with a blade or a similar sharp object on his face and robbed him of his phone and wallet,” an officer told HT.
On Saturday, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj sought a report from officials concerned over an attack on a German national in the city.
“I have asked for a report on the attack on German national in Delhi. I have asked Delhi government to provide him best medical treatment,” Swaraj said in a tweet.

The Minister has also asked the Delhi government to provide him the best medical treatment.
