A 30-year-old Uber cab driver was killed after a speeding BMW rammed into his vehicle near IIT flyover in south Delhi’s Outer Ring Road on Sunday night, police said.

The incident happened around 11 PM on Sunday, when Khan rammed his vehicle into cab driver Nazrul’s car. According to a report in The Hindu, after the collision, the driver got down from his BMW and made inquiries regarding the victim, but then left the scene without waiting for a reply.

Injured Nazrul, who is resident of West Bengal and was presently living in Gurgaon, was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre where he was declared brought dead, a senior police official said.
The driver of the speeding car, 24-year-old Shoaib Khan, who fled from the spot leaving behind his car bearing a Chandigarh registration number, has now been arrested.
