National hero, IAF officer Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is finally back on duty as a video of him reuniting with his colleagues in J&K surfaces online.

In the video, Varthaman can be seen getting pictures clicked with his overjoyed fellow officers. An overwhelmed Abhinandan also mentions that the pictures are dedicated to the families of the officers who prayed for his wellbeing when he was recovering.
All these photographs are not for you. But they’re for your families that I could not meet. I am grateful to you and your families for praying for my health.
First video since he was discharged from hospital, here’s Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman taking pictures with men. This is likely sometime last month. Video from some Air Force groups. He looks well! 👊🏽 pic.twitter.com/Os5Pu6aJI1

This is his first virtual appearance after being discharged from hospital last month and nearly 2 months after the Balakot air strike. Cheerful as ever Wg. Cdr. Abhinandan looks alive and well all set to take on his duties once again.

Currently stationed at an IAF unit in Srinagar, Varthaman may soon be transferred outside Srinagar. He is most likely a high-level JeM target and thus needs to be securely placed at the safest possible location.
We’re all collectively relieved at how quickly he is back on his toes.
