The report further adds: “Kakkar’s parents are teachers at Delhi University. Rita Kakkar is in the faculty of chemistry department and Subhash Kakkar is a teacher of management studies.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Google is making such a good offer to an Indian student. In December 2014, a 21-year-old B-Tech student of IIT Indore, Gaurav Agarwal, had bagged a job with Google at an annual salary package of Rs. 1.7 crore.

Also, given that the CEO of Google is Sundar Pichai, it probably means that Indian students will as good a chance as any.
