After being snubbed for the World Cup 2019 squad, Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has announced his retirement from International cricket.

According to the Indian Express, the middle order batsman has not specified any reason behind his retirement but has informed reporters that he won’t be playing in the IPL either.

Rayudu also said that he was open to playing in foreign T20 leagues. 

Initially, Rayudu had been named as a reserve player for the Indian squad in the case of any injuries. But instead, when two Indian players actually got injured, Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal were asked to join the team in England.
