It seems the frustration and helplessness among people caused due to the cash crunch in the ATMs has reached such an extent that they are now resorting to the last resort – seeking a divine intervention.

The residents of east-Delhi’s Jagatpuri locality on Sunday organised an ‘ATM pooja’ in which they performed a ceremony for an ATM and appealed to it to dispense notes to put an end to their suffering, reports IANS.
Around 50 people from the locality had gathered for the prayer ceremony at a State Bank of India (SBI) ATM.
While the people might have hoped to get a message across, and some on Twitter applauded it, there were others who were critical of it:
@ndtv idiots !! They should have been outside jaitleys daughters wedding venue.
