On a day when the world is celebrating International Yoga Day, Nitish Kumar has chosen to be a divergent by turning his back towards the much-hyped event.

What is the Bihar CM miffed at? Nitish Kumar had recently dared Yoga-loving PM Modi to impose a nation-wide ban on liqour saying ‘Yoga is irrelevant without country-wide liquor ban‘.

The considerate appeal was brutally overlooked by Narendra Modi, who did not even as much as react to the call, let alone act on it.

Nitish, who earlier imposed a ban on sale of liqour in Bihar and takes immense pride in it, apparently got pissed at the no-reaction and decided to refrain from observing the day, even as bureaucrats, sailors, soldiers, school children across the nation performed Yoga to mark the event.

Call it creative or insane (or may be insanely creative), but Bihar CM, in a bid to be the red apple in a pile of green, is apparently celebrating World Music Day that coincides with the International Yoga Day.

As the CM condemned Modi going gaga over Yoga day celebration, other leaders of the ruling party in Bihar followed suit by pulling a no-show at the Yoga event held in Patna today.

The event, spearheaded by Union telecommunications minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, saw vacant chairs in the names of Deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav, Education Minister Ashok Chowdhary and Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav from Bihar government.

Twitter has bashed Nitish for the move, calling it narrow-minded and shameless.

Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal too were dragged in
