This is Charlie (on the left), an 11-year-old golden retriever who had to have both eyes removed due to glaucoma. And, the one next to him is Maverick, a 4-month-old puppy who has literally become Charlie's eyes. Yes, Maverick is Charlie's "Seeing Eye dog" who helps him to navigate around.

In an interview with Bored Panda, owners Adam and Chelsea Stipe said they got Maverick into Charlie's life because they knew he needed a sibling.

According to Today, Maverick and Charlie initially had their differences since both of them were new to each other but soon, they developed a strong bond and now they are inseparable. Now Maverick, the cute little pup, shadows Charlie around to help make sure he doesn't face any problems.

Charlie and Maverick live with their owners in Mooresville, North Carolina and they also have their own Instagram page with 179k followers.

"We have definitely been overwhelmed with the response, but it's such a good thing. We love how positive the community is and how happy (the dogs) are making everyone, Stipe said.

Dog lovers definitely have a gala time going through Charlie and Maverick's Instagram account since they are quite adorable, playful and entertaining.
